Marilyn Taylor Surprised to Hear the News!

The Surprise Patrol interrupted a meeting in the Administration building to present Marilyn Taylor with the University's prestigious Billy Joe Varney Award. Her boss, Interim SVP for Academic Affairs and Provost Jeff Goldberg was in on the surprise, as a crowd of well-wishers squeezed into the small 5th floor conference room to hear the award notification and applaud in agreement!  Marilyn (left) is joined by a few of the colleagues who nominated her for the award.  A few minutes later, Marilyn’s son Bryce also showed up to join the celebration and congratulate Mom on her selection as the Varney award winner.
